This
tune
was
first
published
in
the
Sacred
Harp
by
B.
F.
White
in
1869.
We
have
been
unable
to
find
it
in
any
other
book
before
that
date,
No
doubt,
how
ever,
it
was
printed
before
that
time,
and
perhaps
the
author
was
not
known
at
that
time
or
Major
White
would
have
given
the
author's
name.
It
has
some
peculiar
runs
not
in
any
other
tune.
The
words
are
looking
to
the
beyond
after
death
to
Jesus
on
the
banks
of
eternal
deliverance.
