music
teacher
and
he
wrote
music
correctly.
Many
years
ago
he
moved
to
the
State
of
Alabama
and
nothing
has
been
heard
of
him
for
sev-
eral
years.
He
composed
four
pieces
in
the
Sacred
Harp,
all
in
1869:
Ester,
437;
Heavenly
Rest,
403;
Heaven
is
My
Home,
119;
Saints
Request,
286.
The
words
in
the
above
hymn
were
arranged
by
Mr
Terry
so
as
to
suit
the
tune.
Terry
was
a
fine
teacher
and
director
of
music.
