a
great
deal

music.
He
was
a
fine
leader
and
director
of
music;
several
times
President
of
the
Southern
Musical
Convention,
also
Chattahoochee
Singing
Convention,
each
of
said
conven
tions
are
still
in
existence;
both
of
them
organized
fifty
years
ago.
Rees
died
1900
and
is
buried
at
Newnan,
Ga.
