ODE
OF
LIFE'S
JOURNEY.
"But
he
forsook
the
counsel
of
the
old
men,
which
they
had
given
him,
and
consulted
with
the
young
men."

charm'd
my

I
saw
joy

successive

'twas
all
a
dream,
And
learn'd
the
fond

to

Where
few
can
reach
the

And
thousands
daily
are
un-done.

Walker
in
his

says
that

other

claim
that
he
was
living
long
after
that.
